for County Commissioner

A Leader for People.
Kipperlyn Sinclair for Washington County Commissioner, District 4.
The political pipeline in Washington County continues to promote business as usual, trading away prime farmland for corporate data centers while working families bear the cost. It’s time to stand up for our community, reduce utility costs, and build an economy rooted in everyday people, not corporate profits.

Why I'm Running:

Local government is about people, place, policy, and priorities. Home is our community’s greatest investment. Right now, Washington County faces a $20.5M deficit and working families shouldn't bear the burden.

Residents are fed up with prime agricultural land being handed to corporate data center sprawl. This unchecked growth raises utility costs and drains school funding through tax abatements. We can’t afford complacent politicians who manage decline. From the Planning Commission to the City Council, I’ve stood firm for our values and constitutional rights; even when it meant standing alone.
I will bring that same unwavering fight to the County Commission.

My Priorities for District 4:

-
Stop the Sprawl. End tax breaks for data centers and stop their spread onto prime farmland. Corporations must pay their fair share to fully fund our schools and community services.
-
Invest Local. I will push to activate Economic Improvement Districts along our Main Streets, provide tax credits to independent businesses, and advocate for transit-oriented, affordable workforce housing.
-
Diversify Our Economy. Oregon agriculture generates $7B annually, yet food insecurity persists. By investing in farm-to-market distribution hubs, we will support local farmers, expand access to fresh food, and build a resilient local supply chain capable of withstanding seismic disasters and grid disruptions.
Trusted by Our Community.
This campaign is powered by the people who live, work, and grow here in Washington County. I am incredibly proud to have earned the trust and endorsement of these dedicated public servants, local farmers, and community advocates.
